Illustration Mundo is a fantastic community of illustrators around the world. I'm happy to be part of it, and love visiting it often to to keep on learning from all those talented artists I admire so much!
I also have been following Nate William's blog for some time... his tips are really helpful, inspiring and clear. I truly recommend it! :)

Me encanta visitarla seguido para seguir aprendiendo de todos esos artistas que admiro tanto y me alegra poder ser parte de ella. Hace un tiempito he venido siguiendo el blog de Nate William's... sus consejos son buenísimos para ilustradores emergentes. Jardín y carretera ~ Garden and road

Este es uno de los fondos que diseñé para el proyecto de "Canto a una Rosa", y el proceso de creación desde el boceto hasta la pintura digital en photoshop. Me acuerda mucho de Van Gogh :)

This is one of the backgrounds I designed for the "Ode to a Rose" project, including the digital painting process in photoshop. It reminds me a lot of Van Gogh :)

palabra ilustrada: CAÑA ~ illustrated word: CANE

Acá les comparto mi palabra de turno: "Caña"... y no sé por qué terminó con criaturitas encaramadas mirándonos con curiosidad. (¿tal vez por lo que los estamos espiando?)

This is the next illustrated word: "Cane" ... and I can't imagine why it ended up with little creatures climbing and looking at us with curiosity. (probably because we are spying on them?)

Vistiendo personajes ~ Dressing characters

¡Cómo me hubiera gustado poder desarrollar todavía más el vestuario de los personajes! Pero bueno, ahí quedaron algunas ideas para otros en el futuro :)

I would have loved to be able to develop the character's costumes a lot more! Oh well, at least there are some ideas ready to be used in the future :)

Los gestos de Canto a una Rosa ~ The expressions of Ode to a Rose

Estos son los gestos que entregué al equipo de producción del proyecto. Me hubiera gustado poder trabajar en ellos mucho más y conocer a cada personaje completamente, pero no hubo tiempo. Sería ideal poder imaginármelos caminando, corriendo, saltando, conversando filosófica y trivialmente, desesperados, aburridos, melancólicos y chistosos. Saber cómo suenan, qué tan pesados son, que tan extrovertidos o invisibles. Y dibujarlos mientras se me aparecen por ahí. Lo mismo que un escritor.

These are the final expressions I gave to the production team of the project. I would have loved to be able to work on them much more and get to know each character completely, but there was no time.
It would have been ideal to be able to imagine them walking, running, jumping, sustaining philosophical and trivial conversations, in despair, bored, melancholic and playful. Know their sound, their weight, how extroverted or invisible they are. And draw them while they appear to me unexpectedly, as a writer would do.
